Current Status - Lessons still on hold - No tests booked by DVSA until further notice.
By now you'll know about the current outbreak of CoronaVirus unless you've been living under a rock on a desert island somewhere.
It is a particularly simple virus but with very deadly affects on the lungs and breathing. It can be fatal to the elderly, the very young and people with underlying health conditions.
Coronavirus causes the viral infection Covid-19.
If you are feeling unwell with the symptoms of fever or a new and persistent cough then please review the guidelines on the website at the bottom of this page as it details what precaustions to take. This could be self-isolating for a period of time.
It is with regret that I have to inform all students. As of this week the government has banned all non essential working or where that working cannot be undertaken with 2 metres distance between people. That clearly rules us out from doing any driving lessons. As such I have had to cancel all lessons until at least the end of April. Should the government issue an update between now and then I will be in touch again. If they do not. I will be in touch towards the end of April with more information.
Please note that if you are advised to isolate and you do not, causing someone to become infected knowing you may have the virus is a criminal offence and is currently leading to arrest and prosecution.
An additional note is that presently there are no driving tests being undertaken by the DVSA and all tests booked are being cancelled.
For more information please listen to one source only, don't rely on Facebook Posts or word of mouth but the following website only.
I wish all students and their families all the best. Look after yourselves and those around you at this unprecedented time.
